How a Storyteller thinks she's going to save the world, one story at a time
This is a Penobscot story about the hero-trickster Glooscap, which I told at Brother Blue's on July 22, 2008.
that was the nicest 9 min of my day!
I'm so glad you liked it! That was the first time I told that story, and I dedicated the telling of it to my daughter. After all, who taught me more about babies crying than she did?! As soon as I have time, I plan to post more of the stories told that night. Did you know, almost half of Knitting Group showed up that night, and listened cheerfully while working on socks? Knitters Rock!!!! I feel so fortunate to be nurtured by so many wonderful energy-giving listeners - - -Thank You to you ALL!
